Why founders look for an EasyFiling alternative
If you are looking for an EasyFiling alternative, the first thing to compare is what the yearly bill buys.
The $249 Starter plan covers formation, the EIN, a registered agent, a mailing address and the state annual report. It does not cover IRS filings. A US LLC owned by one non-US person generally has to send the IRS a Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 every year, even in a year with no sales. To get that filed inside EasyFiling you move to Business 360° at $999 a year, or you pay a separate preparer.
The second reason is reviews. EasyFiling holds 4.0 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 28 reviews. On 7 October 2026, 82% of those reviews gave five stars and 11% gave one star. The lowest-rated reviews describe slow delivery and unmet promises, and EasyFiling has replied to them publicly. Read them yourself before you decide. 28 reviews is a small sample, and ours is smaller still.
Pricing: pay once or pay every year
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Bizstartz Starter | $199 once + state fees | Formation, registered agent for year one, EIN, operating agreement |
| Bizstartz Standard | $299 once + state fees | Expedited EIN, US bank account support, US phone number, Stripe and payment setup |
| Bizstartz Premium | $699 once + state fees | Business mail and hosting, website and domain for one year, a tax consultation |
| EasyFiling Starter | $249 a year + state fees | Formation, EIN, registered agent, mailing address, annual state report filing |
| EasyFiling Business 360° | $999 a year + state fees | Tax return filing, CPA review, expedited EIN, mail scanning, bookkeeping tools |
| EasyFiling Business 360° Growth | $299 a month + state fees | A dedicated bookkeeper and tax planning sessions |
Bizstartz is not free after year one. From year two you pay a registered agent renewal, and Wyoming charges $60 for each annual report. Tax filing is a separate service. We do not publish those renewal prices yet, so ask for them in writing on your consultation call. Full package details are on our pricing page.
First-year cost of a Wyoming LLC

| Service fee | Wyoming filing fee | First year | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bizstartz Starter | $199 once | $100 | $299 |
| EasyFiling Starter | $249 a year | $100 | $349 |
| EasyFiling Business 360° | $999 a year | $100 | $1,099 |
These totals are the service fee plus the state filing fee only. The three plans do not cover the same services; the plan table above shows what each one includes. Wyoming charges $100 to form an LLC. The fee is explained in our Wyoming LLC cost guide.
The first year is close, with $50 between the two entry plans. The difference shows up in year two. EasyFiling bills the same $249 or $999 again. Bizstartz bills a renewal, so get that figure before you choose.
Bank accounts: neither company can approve you
Read this part before you pay anyone. A formation company prepares your documents and tells you where to apply. The bank decides.
Mercury does not open accounts for people who live in 48 countries. The list includes Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and the Philippines, and it goes by where you live, not by your passport. The full list is in our guide to Mercury prohibited countries. EasyFiling’s homepage names Mercury, Relay and Wise as its banking partners and sells a bank opening guide for $250. Bizstartz includes bank account support in the $299 Standard plan. Neither changes which countries a bank accepts.
Before you choose a provider, check your own country in our table of which US banks and payment platforms work by country. If you live in Nepal, start with Stripe from Nepal and PayPal in Nepal.
BOI filing: do not pay for it
US-formed companies no longer file a beneficial ownership report. FinCEN issued its final rule on 11 August 2026 and it took effect on 14 August 2026. EasyFiling’s pricing page still lists BOI filing among the features of Business 360°. Bizstartz stopped offering it. If any provider quotes you a fee for a BOI report on a US LLC, ask what they would file. More detail is in what BOI filing means now.
When EasyFiling is the better choice
- You want one subscription for everything. Business 360° puts formation, tax returns, bookkeeping tools, a mailing address and mail scanning on one bill.
- You want bookkeeping software. EasyFiling has its own. Bizstartz does not.
- You want a self-serve signup. EasyFiling says you can file a formation application in under five minutes. Bizstartz starts with a consultation call.
- You want the longer track record. EasyFiling says it was founded in 2022. Its homepage says 5,000+ companies formed and its pricing page says 10,000+ businesses served (both checked 7 October 2026). Bizstartz was founded in 2025.
When Bizstartz is the better choice
- You want to pay for formation once. $199 plus state fees, with the EIN and the first year of registered agent service included.
- You only need formation and an EIN. You are not tied to a yearly plan to get them.
- You want to talk to someone before paying. You can book a free consultation before you pay anything. If a US LLC will not fix your problem, we say so on the call.
- You want straight answers on banking. We tell you which banks are closed to your country before you form the company.
Where Bizstartz falls short
Bizstartz is a small team and a young company. We have 19 reviews on Trustpilot, we have no bookkeeping software, and a mailing address is only part of the $699 Premium plan. If you want a large provider with an app for everything, EasyFiling or doola will suit you better.
How to move from EasyFiling to Bizstartz
You do not form a new company. The LLC and its EIN stay as they are.
- Check your renewal date. Start a few weeks before EasyFiling’s next yearly charge so you do not pay for another year.
- Change the registered agent. We help you file the change of agent with your state. Until the state accepts it, your current agent stays on record.
- Update the IRS if your mailing address changes. If the IRS has EasyFiling’s address for your LLC, file Form 8822-B with the new one.
- Bring your documents. We need the articles of organization, the EIN letter and last year’s tax filing, if there was one.
- Cancel the old plan. Do this last, after the state shows the new agent.
Not sure whether a move is worth it? Book a free consultation and bring your current invoice. We will compare the two costs with you.
Frequently asked questions
Is EasyFiling a one-time fee or a subscription?
EasyFiling’s plans are yearly or monthly subscriptions. On 7 October 2026 its pricing page listed Starter at $249 a year, Business 360° at $999 a year and Business 360° Growth at $299 a month, each plus state fees.
Is Bizstartz cheaper than EasyFiling?
In the first year, yes, by a small margin. A Wyoming LLC on Bizstartz Starter costs $299 with the state fee, against $349 on EasyFiling Starter and $1,099 on EasyFiling Business 360°. After year one it depends on your Bizstartz renewal quote and on whether you need tax filing.
Can I move an existing LLC from EasyFiling to Bizstartz?
Yes. Your LLC and your EIN stay the same. What changes is the registered agent on file with the state, and the mailing address the IRS holds if your address was EasyFiling’s. Bizstartz helps you file the change of agent.
Does EasyFiling or Bizstartz guarantee a US bank account?
No. Banks and payment platforms approve or decline every application themselves. Mercury does not open accounts for residents of 48 countries, including Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and the Philippines, and no formation company can change that.
Do I need to pay for BOI filing in 2026?
No, if your company was formed in the United States. FinCEN’s final rule, issued 11 August 2026 and effective 14 August 2026, exempts US-formed companies from beneficial ownership reporting. Only companies formed abroad that register to do business in a US state still report.
Does a foreign-owned US LLC have to file a US tax form every year?
Usually yes. A single-member LLC owned by a non-US person generally files Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 for any year with reportable transactions, which include money the owner puts in or takes out. The penalty for missing it is $25,000.
Which is better for founders in Nepal, EasyFiling or Bizstartz?
Both serve founders in Nepal. Choose on cost model and scope: Bizstartz charges once for formation and a renewal after year one, while EasyFiling charges $249 or $999 every year. Neither can open a Mercury account for someone living in Nepal.
